Any plumbers out there?

Basically the hot water tap on the bath is only doing about a quarter turn then stops dead, no amount of force moves it

The water flow is down to just a little more than a trickle, it's taking almost 20 - 30 mins to run a bath

Flow from the hot water tap at the wash hand basin is still good

Any ideas?

TIA

had the same problem last year.

turn off hot water to the bath u can do this from the tank.

use a flat head screw driver to take off the cap on the top of the tap knob to get to the screw for the knob.
screw off the knob and then use a wrench to take the tap apart. more than likely dirt or grit got into the tap and thats why its not opening.
give it a good clean and put it back together.

im assuming the hot water taps in the rest of the house are ok?

Hi m8, yes hot water from other taps is fine, it's a combi boiler if that makes any difference

more than likely some grit just got into the tap as i bet thats the most used hot water tap.

check out youtube im sure there is someone taking apart the same or similar tap
