Over the last few days there has been a new flurry of anti-piracy activity as rightsholders from all over the world attempt to tackle the rising threat of pirate IPTV services. With arrests, blockades, domain seizures and targeted DMCA takedowns, the gloves are certainly coming off in 2022 but the size of the mission ahead isn't easily understated.

As illegal IPTV subscriptions maintain their popularity among those looking for a cheap live TV fix, rightsholders from all over the world are trying hard to counter the threat.

If only the providers would take note and do something about the reason for the existence of the Pirate IPTV services. The majority of people would sooner pay a bit more for the reliability and quality the service providers offer, but not the exorbitant prices they charge for a shitload of repeats.
These are especially hard times with the Covid recovery and the energy prices soaring. We all know that television programming costs money but their profits are sky high, taken from people being squeezed further and further. Rather than spend all this money on trying to combat the pirates they should be trying to make them less attractive.

Low hanging fruit again. smatersiptvmanchester for instance, you've got to be pretty brazen or stupid to firstly register that domain, then no doubt have a website offering services, and likely a facebook page etc.
