picture quality between vga and dvi

Ok i had to swap a desktop to use on my aoc monitor and notice picture is crap shiver and distorted icons on screen,another tv used vga and same results.hdmi if available perfect picture.
so pc only has vga and tv has hdmi and vga=bad picture.
i cannot remember with old pc i had there if another port was there as i did see new card had vga and dvi and was perfect picture quality.
can an inbuilt video card differ from another inserted on motherboard with better quality as i had that on my older now non working pc?

just get a low profile graphics card m8 with HDMI output

just check that you have a pci express port on the motherboard

if it's just for movies and not playing new games that will be spot on

It should not be blurred though, what resolution do you have it set to?

got fixed with a phone call,resolution matched pc but unknown to me there was a setting on tv screen to autosync maybe like a fine tune auto button on my aoc tv screen which has fixed the issue.
dam i wish i knew about that feature as 2 other pcs give same issues connected elsewhere.
Just to clarify my aoc tv hd ready has a small screen size of 30" and old scart connection for a box like kv780,hdmi for testing,vga for pc
