Phone Unlocking PHILLIPS DIGA MOBILE ON BT CELLNET

I HAVE THE ABOVE MOBILE PHONE ON THE U TARRIF
35 PENCE AT AL TIMES.I WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN PUT A BT CELLNET PAY AND GO SIM CARD IN MY PHONE TO GET THE CHEAPER RATES AND IF THE PHONE HAS TO BE UNLOCKED FIRST.ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED.THANKS IN ANTICIPATION R.TRIBE

So are we talking the Old 'Brick' phone that was out around 1 and a half year ago or the almost as old c-12 model? All BtCellnet phones will work with BtCellnet SIM's regardless of payplan, however if yours is the brick, then they could be a problem. Does it have the 'Credit card' size sim or the small chip-like one? If its the chip one then all u have to do is buy a btcellnet simcard £15 quid off the net(btcellnet.co.uk). If u have the credit card one then u'll have to get a sim adapter(dont ask me where to get one, u can get them tho)then buy a sim card. However my advice, buy a cheap second hand c12 if ur that desparate if it is the huge version of the phone.It'll save u in the long run
