Go into Menu, USB and you'll see online service you can choose weather or map.

Have netgear router/virgin modem...

I have tried with to plug 5402 straight to the modem and YES, IT IS working...

As soon as I plug the ethernet cable via my netgear router(wpn824 v2) it CRASHES, any setup/modification I need to do?
Was ok, with the "other" 108p digidude...

Any advice much appreciated. Thanks.

Will try factory reset,to see if it help, but last time I did I lost all setup AND channels, did upload channels to usb stick but couldnt regain the channels list to my box, sorry if it is a silly question...does a factory reset will automatically erase all motorised setup? Cheers

the calculator function also has a decimal - hex conversion function, ideal for creating boxkeys

enter your 10 digit serial number, press the red button, and itll convert into a hexadecimal boxkey, if you are using your sub card, enter the card menu, and when it shows the card number, press the yellow button, and enter this hex key into the window that pops up

Tried it on my TM 5402hd but lost discovery channels on 19 and 39 east went back to 106 patch. But thanks anyway

extra lan functions not availble for the 7100 and canaaldigitaal nl softcam not clearing, why do they put text with patch that new lanfunktions would be for 7100 too ?
the extra lan funktions must be for the 02 series only?
On my 6902 youtube and other funktions working the finest.

Not being one to give up had another bash at the new patch, only this time just applied the patch with no factory reset. Got my channels back on 39 east still lost some at 19 east but happy at that.

Connected up the [SIGN]LAN[/SIGN] cable no problems at all, every thing works with no problems.

It is no joke, I have the TM5402HD patch 1.09
It is AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Tux weather & Google Maps (online service)
- Youtube, and it works like 100%, it is really very very nice
- Calendar & Calculator
- internet radio, really really good.

It is almost as a dreambox now .....

BUG :
when you'r network is acting weird or CCcam/newcamd do the following thing
(Or you can only use 1 cccam line, the first one)

go to ip settings in the menu
(I use a fixed IP, DNS Gateway)
Change Number in your IP settings, EXIT
Push IP on the remote (0000)
be sure everything = OFF
Go back to ipsettings in the menu
Put the right IPadress, EXIT
Go Back towards
Push IP on the remote (0000)
check the Lines = ON, and they will be activated/connected (I have 4 CCcam lines active)

Sometimes it is enough just to alter the Ipsettings...(annoying network Bug ...)


After this go to the Games Menu : Youtube will be there (if network Not Ok, no YOUtube will appear)

USB menu : Online services & Internet radio

Youtube, some movies with HD codec will not play.

You need to have at least 1 Gb free (i think even 2 gb is better and a fast stick - for buffering - )



NL digitaal is not working with this patch or maybe the Key format is wrong ?
Can someone please confirm ?

I was getting a similar problem when trying to access Youtube with a Netgear router. Switched to a Zyxel router and problem solved.

i Have asked about the possibility of adding iPlayer access, that would be a huge selling point for the uk market

i still think they dont push the fact that its got 7 day EPG enough. Some placed are doing the 5402 for less than £150 delivered, with a decent channel list set up on it, that makes it bettervalue than some of the Freesat branded HD single tuner receivers in my opinion
