PC to 32" LCD

I recently built a new machine with a ATI Radeon HD 3800 GFX card and have a 20" Benq monitor connected using dvi to vga connector and 32" LCD connected using dvi to hdmi cable.

The question I have is can I clone my desktop and have two different resolutions? I would like my PC monitor to stay as 1680x1050 but my 32" LCD to be 1360x768... I figured out how to do this using extended desktop mode but ideally would prefer cloned desktop.

Try the program UltraMon. It does exactly what you're asking for. It says it can 'use different resolutions for the mirror source and destination monitor '.

It's not free... officially. I recommend it to anyone who is running more than one screen, couldn't live without it. It even puts a taskbar on the second screen if you are using extended desktop.
