preferably im not looking for second hand stuff

If you can afford it mate get a Sasmung. I love them, their build quality is pretty solid and the screens usually have very vibrant colours.

I have had 2 and both were superb, one 15" and one 19".

I have also had an Acer which was all washed out compared to the Samsung, and now a small Digimate 14" which is just not in the same league as a Samsung, but I never expected it to be for the price and size, lol.

Something like this is a nice price:
Samsung SM223BW 21.6" TFT Monitor Widescreen 1680x1050 3000:1 300 cd/m2 5ms VGA/DVI-D Glossy black 3 Years Warranty

£164

try ebuyer everyone seems to forget about them

lol just noticed someone has already said ebuyer sry

i dont buy electronice from tesco sorry the quality i found is just too crap ....sorry when i meant cheapest i meant for the good stuff but is that the cheapest price i could find?

can someone please quickly advise to me for my PSU i think Modular PSU are better right?...whats so good about these?....and can someone reocmmend me one....i cant choose there are so many ones out there?...(im just building pc for me but wont be gaming but it wouldnt hurt if the pC could game im willing to spend no more then around 100 quid on PSU want to spend way less then that) also a CASE suggesitons please as im confused looked at Antec Sontanta III but its sooo expensive?

Modular PSUs are good if you've got a cramped case and need to improve air flow. They also mean that if you don't need molex connectors or a floppy connector or SATA connectors you don't have to have them plugged in. You do tend to pay a premium for them though...

Unless you intend going SLi/Crossfire the Enermax made Corsair TX 650W should be enough: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135514

Mate for your needs you do not need to spend anywhere near £100.

Either of these will be mnore than enough for your needs:

OCZ StealthXtream 500W PSU - 1x PCI-E 6/8pin, 2x SATA 12cm Fan £34.77
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/135159

Hiper 530W Black Type M PSU - ATX v2.2, Silent/Temp Control, Active PFC, SLI/Crossfire Certified £39.70

Corsair VX450WUK 450W PSU £44.16
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131052

Corsair being the best of them but all are good and have great warranties. To be honest I would get the OCZ due to the low cost to performance ratio and the perfect OCZ swap out warranty which means they will bring you a new one to your door the same time they pick up the old one if it were to ever break down on you.

thanks for the info...however thing is im confused as to what connecitons i need for the PSU? f

i am confused as to what connetions i need....Say i buy a graphics card...no power connections plug directly into the Graphics card from the PSU right? ..if they do what sort of connection cable do i need to ensure the PSU has in order for the graphics card to be compatibale?

Also is there any other components that my PSU need to be compatible with?

also how do i know whether a case is compatible with a PSU? what do i look for in the PSU and CASE Spec?

Some graphics cards take a 4 pin molex connector, some take a 6 pin connector. Some more recent cards take 2x4 pin or a newer 8 pin connector. However, even if the PSU doesn't come with the connectors you need for you graphics card, unless you buy OEM, it should come with an adapter anyway to convert 2x molex to the correct power connector.

You need an ATX PSU for an ATX case - some mATX do take non-standard sizes but they generally come with a PSU included when they do (e.g. shuttle cases).

was in pc world at team valley today and seen they had lotsa of ex display pc's. and lotsa monitors with knocked down prices
