pc freezing

can anyone give me any advice as to y my pc freezes from time to time. on others is does not boot hence i have restart it several times

What OS, what you doing when it freezes?
If system fails to boot, what happens, where does it hang?

lone gunman correct ...more info required but if you want a quick answer ..? bad sector? ? virus ? Hardware prob? ? new software ? ..
you see no quick answer you'll need to be more specific and would be delighted to help if I can

if pc just freezes n then doesnt restart. possible problems with the mainboard or the cpu. tend 2 over heat n crash. xp cant prevent that.

but defonatly more information needed to pin point exactly why its freezing
