I lost £35 through a scammer on ebay using Western Union. If i hadnt caught on a soon as i did i would have lost £600. You need to be careful abecause they are convincing and smart at what they do.

Yeah just reading a few of the post, I definatly would be as confident as I have been in the past when using paypal.
Thank god I read this thread otherwise I could end up getting stuck sooner rather than never.

S**t this stuff has really got me worried I never knew all this happens on ebay and paypal. Only gonna stick to buying 2.99 and 3.99 stuff from there. LOL

I bought some memory for my computer that cost over £100, when i received the memory it was faulty, i tried emailing the seller and had no reply, i put a claim via paypal and they found in the guys favour so i lost over £100.

Never again.

MUST SAY GUYS !!! Ebay is a great place but only if u can get a bargain !!! There are some stuff that people can buy £30 - £40 cheaper at the shops with warantee but dunno why people seem to still bid on it..
