paypal:e-cheque ???

i have used paypal for ages now with no problems but this week i payed for something through paypal and it has not cleared and apparently this is an e cheque? i have never had this before so why now?
is this always going to happen or is it something i have done wrong?
i always pay my torrent site this way and its instant but this time e cheque?

any help appreciated.

e cheques normally take up to 7/10 days to clear ive had a few but it shouldent be a prob it will clear just takes a few days longer

it usually happens if paypal was not able to authorise the funds through your bank account possibly the direct debit not being active or the debit card transaction being declined for security cheque.. nothing to worry though..

bloody hell yes they have ill have to update as it was end of the month/year!
