I have a panasonic veira TH-37PX70B plasma tv which has suddenly developed a fault picture great all functions work but after about 2 hours it shuts down no standby light nothing
at all after a while all is ok then shutdown I have had the back off evidence of slight dust
nothing excessive no burn marks on pcbs no bulging caps I think this points to a thermal
overload I could be wrong could would anyone have any solutions to this problem

Great TVs, I've got one myself, but they are getting on a bit. Unless it's a very simple fix you might be better to replace it.

Probably no use but heres one solution
[h=1]My new TV keeps turning itself off after two hours of it being on. Is this a fault?[/h] This is not a fault. The AUTO STANDBY function may have been activated. In order to switch off the setting you will need to do the following:-

• Press the MENU button of the TV remote.
• Scroll down to SETUP and press OK.
• Scroll down to OTHER SETTINGS and press OK.
• Scroll down to AUTO STANDBY and press the left or right arrows to set the option to OFF.
