PACE 4001 Update Problem

Just dug out an old 4001 i had lying around. It was stuck in tune but after reading another post regarding removing the jumper it seems to have started taking the update.

It diplays the old *** logos then seems to cycle through most of the update. Gets to AP53 then hangs for a few minutes then goes to 999 :Mad2: on the display then sticks.

Anyone come accross this before?

If it goes to 999 you should be ok it could be your card is still updateing the box will not respond until that has finshed, give a a while and see what happens, but as I said 999 is the home page and once that is displayed you should be hom and dry

Agree with blanno had my 4001 get stuck on a update. I left the power out for a day plugged it back left it for 45 mins ....came back see 999 on display got the remote and moved off the channel to one i wanted to watch. fingers crossed been good for 24hours.
