Outlook express cant Send mail

I can receive mail ok but get error message when sending

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was '[email protected]'. i tried my daughters E-mail on her PC and thts ok we use the same connection and both settings appear the same?

any ideas

Have you checked the box that requires authentication for your smtp server. There's usually a check box that says "Use the same as POP3". It just means that it uses the same password etc etc for outgoing mail.

You'll find it under tools - accounts in express?

error 550 is you have the wrong email address...i.e. that email address does not exist....check the email address spelling it will probably be the spelling after the @
