Not to sure on how this will take off but it's a free alternative to XP

do a a search on Lindows. It was a linux distro that aped Windows, MS threw a fit over it.

ReActOS is nice, used it on and for a while... Tend use Unbuntu more now though...

Lindows/Linspire is pretty damn awful, or was last time I tried it...
