Just copied all files over from working mcgamd to my box still the same so strange looking like have to give up

Try your mgcfg and newcamd.list in the etc/tuxbox/config/ directory then reboot

What if I uninstalled cam and installed it from plugin menu and tried it that way

Hi mate I am having the exact same problem, tried all what you have done, download new mgcamd from plugins. copied over the mgcam info from a pli 4, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried old cams etc and still no joy, exact same box everything else works, bbc1-chan 5 but will just nott connect to server. I know line is correct as using on another same box using pli4. Network tests, DNS checks, close to giving up, Ive spend hours and tearing hair out, did you manage to sort? cheers mate

Thank mate, I dont want to move to atv as i'm familiar with open pli. I'll have another try, if i do sort it i will post. How does atv compare with open pli? cheers anyway

Just cannot get this to clear. Given up. Im happy with openpli 4, does anyone know of a good one with the audio fix, its only the audio fix i want. Sim 2 DM800se hd dvbc
