Only getting 600 channels on Astra 28.2 and need help badly

Hi guys,been struggling with this for a few days and need some guidance.

Ive a new motor set up with a dm 800 hd.

Yesteday i managed to do a scan and get over 1100 channels but since i reflashed my image i only get 600 no matter how i try and scan and get no fta or bskyb at all.

Im now at a loss what to do.

I configure tuner for advanced and set disecqs at 1.2 and usuals at no.

I then go to satfinder and get a lock,this is where i think im going wrong.
I find a good snr 100% and press ok and then go to positioner press tune and select the transponder and store at 1.

I then go back and do a manual or automatic scan.

Somehow yesterday i managed to get 1100 now i only get 676 at best.

If anyone is out there can you help me cos this is doing my head in.

Just an update Fergalworld spent ages talking me through msn and a big thanks to him.
If anyone has the same problem select simple set up and positioner and put in your longitude and latitide.That did the trick and i got all fta BskyB stuff with the help of a good bouquet.
