hi everyone ! i have a securelink dvr that i can view the cameras on my phone but when im away from home i can't view anything it just stays black screen ! any ideas

I would imagine that you would have to forward the ports that the dvr uses. If you look in your dvr settings there should be a device port or something similar. If you forward it in your router that should help.

can't see anything like that !its got me baffled

There aren’t any other ideas as your DVR most certainly does have some network options. They may be labeled LAN or maybe a symbol but there will be page which has the ip of the the DVR and the ports that the DVR uses.

Whats the app ur using i set one up earler and had to do dhch or something like that to on

Probably you have only connected to local network? So once you leave the place, the connecting would be gone.

how do i connect to internet to recieve the cameras away from home ?

Mine takes ages to conect sometimes
Ive got that system in the pub
