I got myself one and have to say it's impressive :)
The games are great, a few demos available for download. Some can give motion sickness.
The 360° videos are a little blurry/ off focus, but still amazing (also had a bit of motion sickness on the roller coasters)
The VR porn is first class. The closer she gets, the more clearer she is. She could actually be on your lap haha.
If you want to download clips and watch offline, download Skybox VR Player. It also picks up my Zgemma to watch recorded TV in a huge virtual cinema with 40foot screen :)
 
Was looking at getting the HP Reverb G2 now that they are back in stock. Love the price of the Quest 2 but am worried that I would regret buying one and would crave the higher resolution of the G2.
My main reasons for buying would be VTOL VR, DCS World and Microsoft Flight.
 
I got occulus quest 1st gen...all of a sudden it doesn't switch on ..no charging light..done all resets etc...still nothing..😔

Might have to do that , after chatting to occulus and going through all their trouble shooting steps, guy says at the end we don't do occulus repairs..wtf! After all that ..🙄
 
Just an update...after giving serial number of my occulus to rep it is under warranty...I gave them all the proof, account details, invoice of proof of purchase from amazon...and just when the are about to send me all the return labels, they asking for unit serial number , ie the number printed on the box...
 
You can connect to Android phone with USB-C to copy things too and fro also.
Also Win10 pick's it straight up via USB. :)
 
Just been using 4K Video Downloader to get a 360VR from YouTube. I had to use the MKV Format. For some reason the MP4 didn't play on the headset, even though i have other MP4 clips that do work? :)
 
Just got a oculus quest 2 256gb yesterday...First impressions bloody great...Where's the best place to get apks ftom? Want to sideload them..also can oculus see that you are sideloading and possibly ban you? This is a new experience for me 😆..I find it a bit blurry, not very sharp...probably need to tweak some settings..

It's all new to me too lol.
It is a little blurry but you get used to it after a bit.

There are some free demo games available on the store (little menu in front of you) the boxing one (Creed) is great lol.
 
Seen that I'll try them...I tried the roller coaster and it made me sick lol..had to stop it after about a minute...I wear glasses normally for reading but find it a bit uncomfortable with the adaptor thing.
