I got this email today from o2 what a load of shite unlimited internet is this fair usage policy stinks. I live in a house with 4 laptops 2 xboxes all being used a different times of the day. it seems its to much for o2. Email below.
It’s us again. We’ve been in contact before reminding you that your use of your O2 Home Broadband is outside our Fair Use Policy (FUP). Unfortunately it looks like your usage has remained the same, and it continues to affect our other customers.
I’m afraid we’ll be stopping your broadband service in 30 days. You’ll get a final bill, which you can see by signing in to My O2. There’s no disconnection charge, but you won’t be able to use O2 Home Broadband again. You will need to return your router to avoid further charges.
We’re sorry we’ve had to do this, but we have a duty to make sure all our customers get the same quality service.
If you need your MAC code to get a new broadband supplier, please call us.
