Network Provider O2 mobile broadband

a friend of a friend has an O2 pay and go mobile and wants O2 broadband for a laptop someone is giving him. he has no landline and wants this on pay and go. i did look on the O2 site but i got a bit confuzzled so i thought i would post for some help - please.

not sure about o2 broadband but i know you can get '3' PAYG broadband for £10 a month....seems reasonable. Have a look here
