Null modem

New to dbox2 so bear with me please.

I don't have an ethernet port on my pc,is it possible to flash a dbox using a 9 pin to 9 pin null modem cable ?

Its possible but takes hours; so wouldnt recommend it.
You can buy an ethernet card from maplins for £3.49 which will give you the ethernet port you need - much better in my opinion as you will always need the FTP function to adjust and set up your box - and you can only FTP via ethernet
