Hi all I am new to the wonders of dreambox I am from Dublin I was talking to a mate bout the boxes the other day and he was telling me that he herd from a guy that ntl were getting software to stop the boxes from working anyone think this is true or just a load of crap

yes.. thats right, it will stop all the boxes, and the all channels will be broadcasted via a normal antenna.. enjoy TV !!! pmsl.
