Motorola Surfboard

Hi I am pretty new to modding modems, well Motorola Surfboards at least.

My sb4200 should be with me tomorrow, I have been told that I need to type the name of the 10mb config file but don't know it's full name. I would be VERY grateful if someone could give it to me?

Also I think I have to set up a tftp server or something along those lines??? Would be SUPER greatfull if someone could point me in the right direction?

I already know how to actually mod the modem, just need to know how to put the 10mb config file on?

Cheers.

Thanks for that, I am going to be using firmware SB4200-0.4.4.5-SCM01-NOSH-2.02.hex.

So what's the 'how do' then? :xmas:

Link Please?

A link to the tutorial would be nice if it's not too much trouble?

Search

I always search for info but a lot of topics seem to contradict one another that's all.

Would rather get the 'proper' info rather than spend hours or even days p!ssing about with the wrong info.

Thanks for the link, although I don't see what use it is as it is a link to several threads all of which I have read from the looks.......
