ntl 2000 freezes when trying to lock channels

my ntl 2000 box freezes every time i go into lock tv channels

i have got the right pin number as it lets me change it

i have done the red jumper thing and reset the pin but still the same.

does Anyone have any other suggestions.

"the box is on CR2" Try undoing the Anti Update mod and let it upgrade to CR4 then you should be ok.
