nortons antivirus 2005 help wanted please

my subsciption for nortons antivirus ran out i just uninstalled it then reinstalled it its up for 3 month it updated the first time no problem but the second time it wont install this update >nortons antivirus 2005 program update 2005 (english) /do i need this ? & will it update my virus definitionwhen more come avalable ?

uninstall it then use this to remove everything that the uninstall misses then reinstall it
