Phone Unlocking Nokia n95 software update

If its contract O2 don't normally lock there phones (if it is locked phone CS).
If its PAYG and you got it from CarphoneWarehouse I believe they don't lock them either.

Call the network and get the unlock code from them.
You'll need a different product code.
Try:
0549487 - EURO1
0550359 - EURO2
0550378 - EURO3

i used 0534841 from another tut i had? do u know what this is for?
0534841 is for an original N95 (N95-1) not the 8Gb version.

I debranded my N95 8gb using NSS and it went great without any problem, I was on Vodafone.
As someone pointed out you wont lose branding until you do a firmware update.

hey people, had a replacement n95 sent out to me, ive shot the cd out tho, and when i just connect the phone to the laptop and use nss i cannot do anything. anyone got a link to download the cd so i can debrand my fone? as t-mobile branding is sooo slow

should i install these before using nss? as i assumed there would be some sort of driver missing if my phone will not work with nss?

The driver for the phone is needed for NSS to see it and 'should' be in the PC Suite.
The software updater is only needed to replace the t-mobile software with the unbranded software, but also needs the correct driver installed to work.

I have read the tuts etc BUT
hi all ive read the tuts etc But still am unclear. Yes i know i am thick but i would just like clarrification on matters before i go out and brick my new phone.
I have black 8gb on 3 network. on contract and the sim works in my misses old battered phone so i said she could have the txt call time etc. seein as all i got the phone for was to watch porn on whilst in the bath phnaw phnaw.lol. However i would like to put my old 02 payasugo sim in is there a way i can get it to work. i know that someone mentioned in the thread earlier there isnt a Free way to unlock but what are my clear alternatives please.
By the way the far coolest app i have found for my n95 has to be x-plore just like a windows explorer version for your phone all harddrives fully managable etc. plus its good for creating hidden folders for those files you dont want your misses to see:licka:
