So it looks as if it can be done now. And you can use normal DVD-r. Anyone ever tried this, if so let me know if it is worth it.

I knew they could be backed-up and FTP to the Cube, but didn't know they had figured out how to get the bootcode working on normal DVD-r's. It used to be that you had to use Animal Crossing to use the boot sequence then ftp the game.
