Newbie questions: What box, what do I need on the box, Media Center integration...

Hello!

1. I'd like to get a box for cable (not satellite), and it looks like the DreamBox 500C is the best one to start off with. Anyone strongly agree/disagree?

2. If I get one of these, is there anything I need to install, or does the box work stright out the box?

3. What kind of integration is there with Windows Media Center Edition? For example, is there any way of driving the box from MCE, or any way of getting MCE to use it to record boradcasts?
