iPhone Newbie question

Just got myself a iphone 3gs 32gig which has been unlocked via O2 so got my T mobile sim working in it and all is good.
Been looking at the Jail break side. Was wondering With the new OS 4.0 coming out is it wise to wait or jailbreak my iphone which is on 3.1.3.
Might sound silly to some, i just don't know what happens when the new OS comes out. Will phones that are currently jailbroken not work on OS 4.0, as in the apps etc???

hi mate id wait if i was u thats what im doing , wait until the release , and heads up that all bugs have been fixed , once working 100% go for it then , once the release of the iphone 4.0 the unlocks and goodies will be released

cheers for that m8, thats what i'll do. As you say let, the bugs and that get ironed out first then when it's 100% do it, don't mind waiting a while.
