new website help

hi i have made a web site got it hosted and registered a domain i have a few pages up but by no means complete iam using frontpage to edit my pages and file zilla to upload files

my problem is i have a page where i have added a picture i saved it and uploaded it i also uploaded my picture but its not showing what is it iam doing wrong ??

It could be a locational problem for your picture.

If you open your website from the internet, right click on the blank space (where the picture should be) and click properties. The address here will show where it is looking for the picture, check that the picture is in this location.

ok done that it says www.hfbef.co.uk/Pictures/Animals/IMG_0122.JPG

but i dont have that dir anywhere do i create it where my index dir is ?

You can do that, or alternatively change the link through frontpage to the location that you have saved the picture.

You shouldn't use Frontpage to build pages, it puts loads of usless markup in the HTML.

There are other free HTML editors out there...
