New TV required

As suggested richer sounds or Costco for the purchase.
I have had a Sony Android for around 3 years and it hasn’t missed a beat. It is nice to cut down on remotes. Kodi runs brilliantly as has every other streaming app I have tried.
The best setup I have found so far is a qnap nas server with sickchill running my news server and kodi on my tv to stream from it. I can get anything (none live) with a couple of clicks on my phone and no buffering ever.

yeah mate, looking to spend all the budget, would have spent more but I didn't set it

I like the look of some of they LG models as they have Freesat HD, my terrestrial aerial is fecked
(and I keep asking the missus if she'll go up and fix it, but she says wait till the chimney need re-pointing
and I'll do it then) but not sure if you can side load apps onto them?
I'll do some more research, but like I said in the first post I haven't a fecking clue what I'm looking
for. :(
I am not coming back to do your chimney again Dave. It was full of shite up there and them porno books are years old now, they have brought out some new toys since then. ✌️👍😂😂

I got a Samsung 75 inch for 700 a month back, it is actually very nice for the price. Its not oled, its lcd so it depends on what you want really. For the size though it's a bargain. I'll find it and post the link for you.

I bought my last tv £800 from Richer Sounds. 6 year warranty and became a VIP member.
Today I was looking at buying an Onkyo surround sound system from them. Thought I would login and see if I could get a little cheaper than the £699 advertised price.
Got a message saying that I appeared to have a login for receiving emails but that I didn't have an account with them. Unless I can find my receipt it looks like I can forget my 6 year warranty.
I went elsewhere for the Onkyo and saved a massive £4 :)

Cancel that lol just read your post again, that's a bummer mate.

Pass on all your details even your tv barcode was scanned and saved on their system as seen that on another forum that Richer Sounds have a thread on.Others like yourself have not found their receipt and used the backup service.

Onkyo amps are bad ass as long as they have mega connections in their ass.

I haven't deep searched for my receipt yet. My tv doesn't have a problem. My point was that I definitely had a VIP account, I used to login to it and as a VIP member been offered many "bargains".
My account showed the purchase of the tv and the 6 year warranty. For some reason I no longer have access. I felt it may be a password issue so requested a forgotten password reset but nothing comes through to my email address.

If I cannot find my receipt I will do as cactikid suggests.

Check spam folder or search for Richer sounds on your many email accounts.

Just done that mate thanks. Found the order acknowledgement from Richer Sounds and the PayPal email clearly showing the 6yr free guarantee. Didn't realise it had been so long, Xmas 2016. :)

Just be careful there's not a power surge in the next year and a half mate, you might need to use that
guarantee. ;)

I found the warranty but that only covers the first 12 months. The emails clear it up though. I'm not overly concerned about the 6yr warranty so long as the screen doesn't fail, although obviously it's better to have it.
I'm more concerned that they felt I didn't have an account. I remembered thinking at the time that the VIP membership may well be handy to have so jumped through the hoops and signed up for it. As said earlier I have logged into my account in the past.
I'm not so interested in it now though. Seen on my email that they charged me £6-95 for delivery. Not too much to pay but normally free with other companies over a certain value.

The sound system I just ordered has free delivery. I got this one, will be here tomorrow.

I fell in love with this ass as never ever seen so many sockets to stick something in to,+ you will need to power off completely or use it as a rad as its a lot of heat produced in standby, buying speaker cables that are long and can carry the load was very expensive for me.
Onkyo TX-SR875 A/V Receiver | Product overview | What Hi-Fi? .Read the instructions for setting up or you will have no sound.
Nothing like great sounds with your new Onkyo system so enjoy it.
