Having a few gltiches with ss1hd and C4HD but after the hassle i have had it will do lol... is an inline amp likely to help fix or basically just a tuner issue thats tolerated with these boxes

PS Big Thanks to Alex and Blochairn top guy...

The very few glitching problems I was having have been sorted with just the type if inline booster you are looking for. No problems at all now.

Good to know tuner change does make a difference...what tuner rev did you have before, and which tuner rev did you replace it with ? Rec J, K, L3 ?

I have sent the Rev L3 tuner that came with my reciever back to supplier for a replacement last week.

not 100% sure what was in it first however its now an L3 if that helps.

You need to fit the amp as close as possible to the LNB

That's good news Colin, if only 1 or 2 channels are glitching then I'm sure you can live with that, on my box almost all channels didn't work at all, including the SD ones. :)

Fitting the amp only made things worse, lol

Looks like you have a tidy clone on your hands and aye, Alex is a top guy.

I wish he would post on here instead of lurking, aye that's right Alex YOU!!!!!! ;)

Aye to be fair ALL HD Channels are mint... with the odd glitch on the ones i mentioned but by all accounts this inline amp seems to sort on the L3 tuners...
In a way i suppose its been good had a few probs as now know all the menus and settings quite well lol

PS Welcome back fella... try and behave this time :)

ok daft question number 100032 whats the LNB im assuming thats the tuner on the back of the box? as i seen someone elses setup and theirs was back there?

The lnb is the thing at the end of the dish arm that the cable connects to :)

Put it at the box end thats were mine is and it stopped the glitching.

Not true my friend as mine is about 6 inches away from the rear of my DM800 and it sorted the few glitches I was suffering.
