new tmc led sim

i'm so embarassed. i have a shinny new led sim from tmc. the new kind. such joy i felt to receive it but suddenly i realise one thing. what the f?*k am i doin. i aint a clue. i've read a few tuts but seem to be confuseing myself. can someone pls enlighten me. first of the new sim states to read right to left. easy i know but silly question ,is this literaly or in data clumps like hex's"ird's are in sets of 2 digits. binaries are in 4 digit clumps. lol also is it true that this new one can't read ird. if so how come i still have 3 way toggle switch and get a reading in centre mode,, wouldn't be so confused if i could have found a key number twelve in it anywhere.... newbie loseing mind here.

well i havent tryed this 1, but if it is any thing like mine you get 4 blocks with 8 lights in each block, so 4 lights would be 1 digit,so if a light is on its 1 if off its 0

so if we read the first block 1101 0000 that would be

0000 = 0 1010 = A
0001 = 1 1011 = B
0010 = 2 1100 = C
0011 = 3 1101 = D
0100 = 4 1110 = E
0101 = 5 1111 = F
0110 = 6
0111 = 7
1000 = 8
1001 = 9
