New sound card problems (firewire)

I got a terratec aureon 7.1 firewire card today.

I installed the drivers then plugged it in but its not detected.
So i made sure my firewire was on and unpluged it and tried again.
Still nothing.
So i said feck it ill install the drivers one more time with it installed but still didnt work.
my board is a gigabyte k8ns pro.
HELP I HAVE NO SOUND. LOL

Its ok i took it back to the shop they couldnt get it workin either.
So just got myself the soundblaster audigy 4 pro
