Had one of these for a few weeks now and very pleased with it but it doesnt have a proper on/off switch only a touch sensitive stand by button,is it ok too keep the tv on standby all the time cuz at the mo thats wat we're doin but in the manual it says too unplug the tv when not in use.......... wat do u lot do???

My 37" sammy does the same. I turn it off at the wall as the standby mode still uses ~4W (also as its in my bedroom the light annoys me).

I've the added bonus that my upscalling DVD player remembers where it was up to as that gets turned off too.
