Just changed my phone again.

I'm not into all these super duper up-to-the minute all singing all dancing cost a fortune phones. I wanted one that makes calls and send text's, and I don't use a lot of ether.

I got the Acer neotouch P300. It runs on on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 so can I can download 1000's of free apps from 100's of sites. I like to use a proper keyboard and this has a slide out QWERTY backlit keyboard. Only a 3.2meg camera but I use my digital SLR for pictures.

The deal I got was the phone free, 300 mins, 300 texts and unlimited data on an 18 month contract @ £25 per month, with 17 months free (using redemption) and with £30 back from topcashback it covers the 18th month. It works out cheaper than pay-as-you-go.

So this will be my 11th year getting free line rental. :)

Don't buy anything mobile phone related until you have looked at the current hot deal being offered by Tesco who piggy back off the O2 network:

Tesco Sim Only deal - £10 a month

500 mins - unlimited text - unlimited data (500MB fair usage policy)

Don't know if anyone else has posted it, but probably worth a thread of it's own if it hasn't.

where u get that deal from mate
cracking deal

I use these sites for finding deals - Mobile phone price comparison site. and DialToSave - Mobile Phones, International Calls & Conference Calls .

The one I got was from Acer neoTouch P300 + Line Rental Discount on T-Mobile £25 (18mths) inc. Internet at BuyMobilePhones.net

The effective costs is £1.39 per month but by going through topcashback you get an extra £30 back, so it means you end up £5 up after 18 months.

Do you have a link?

I'm using tesco mobile also but it's £15.00 per month for same as the above but with no tie in clause just 30 days notice.

how easi is it to get your cash back mate?
some are a pain and that

Been with Buymobilephones a few times and they are good payers, never had any problems with them.

The wife is with Beepy and they are also very good at paying the cash back.

As long as you stick to their terms and send your bills back, or print out your bills and send them back, you should be ok. It's a small price to pay.

These deals are ok if you can afford to pay the initial outlay each month.

They have deals from £20 to £75 per month with all or part cash back depending on how many mins & text you want and which phone you want.

The tesco deals are ok if you dont want any cash back at all.

Tesco 18 month @ £15 = £270

Cash back deal 18 month @ £20 = £360 (- £360 cash back) = £0

I just look at how much it costs after full term.

I do cashback deals too, work mates just don't believe you can get a free contract with a tiny bit of effort. It amazes me people are prepared to pay £30+ a month.

I tend to stick to offers by:
carphonewarehouse
e2save (part of carphonewarehouse)
onestopphoneshop (again part of carphonewarehouse)
dialaphone (part of phones4u)

Hi, what tesco mobile like, customer service, etc.

I have an HTC Desire and looking for a sim only 30 day contract and was considering tesco mobile.

I have read many bad reviews about them.

3G or GPRS? IF it's 3G, it's still a good amount of browsing right there, but on GPRS, it's MORE than enough!
