just got it today but its doing my headin any body know how too convert leds got this, 1= led on 0= off
sw end 11010001 11110001 11101111 01011001 sent this to tmc

got this back from tmc , if you looking at the leds read right to left on sw1 first and then right to left sw2. ignore the first 0 but start with the first led on (1)

(47cb9af7) this is what he converted it too , i just cant see it??

Put the switch on to postion 1 if you are looking at the leds read them right to left. On switch 1 you have the first 8 bk. Put the switch on to postion 2 and read again right to left. This will give you the last 8 bk. You will need to convert bin to hex.

tmc

put it in the middle for the ird or it was with the old led sim not sure about the new 1

no m8 no ird i got mine today works fine for the bk .......... u can get ird from engineers menu or on a sticker on top of the scart socket usually

Could not work out how to do the ird so left that bit out. Ird can be easily found so knew it would not be to much hassle

tmc

How did you get;

47cb9af7

From

11010001 11110001 11101111 01011001

I got;

D1 F1 EF 59

Could be my mistake but I'm pretty good with binary conversions and hex conversions is just another step from that.

thats what tmc said it was i got same as you that way but should it be
10011010 11110111 10001111 10001011 read right to left??

mole the digits that you have wrote which way did you read them right to left or left to right. I may have got confused to how you read them

tmc

Yep right to left read from the otherside of the switch and work your way up to the switch.

That dus not make sense to me to m8....

0000 = 0 1010 = A
0001 = 1 1011 = B
0010 = 2 1100 = C
0011 = 3 1101 = D
0100 = 4 1110 = E
0101 = 5 1111 = F
0110 = 6
0111 = 7
1000 = 8
1001 = 9

0100 = 4

so as you look at it its the sw then11010001 11110001 11101111 01011001 so what u are saying you read it as
1001-1010- 1111-0111 -1000-1111 1000-1011 ?or
1001-0101-1111-1110-0001-1111-0001-1101?

Be carful not to post the other bits on the open forum m8, you've already posted half your Boxkey ...... lol

Opps, I guess I got too caught up in solving the hex :p

Even worse, its not my box key, its mole365's ;)

its not a box key it was centre reading & i get 9af78f8b is c not 1100

Centre reading is not important but good way to learn how to read the simm for asking questions. I knew that postion would come handy.
1001-1010- 1111-0111 -1000-1111 1000-1011 correct way

im i right with 9a?if so i find it easy too write it down as you see it left to right then just turn paper upside down and do hex

They way I worked it out was

10011010
=156

156/16 = 9.75
16*9 = 144
156-144 = 12

So 9 12 = 9C
