New image - what happened

The new image seems to have disappeared?? anyone know what going on. Was it pulled becuase there were problems with it?? Would love the new image to allow the box to record encrypted channels
 
the Beta image didnt have recording fixed mate

stick to what you have at present :)

No recording fix, wi-fi fix??? What exactly does it have other than lighting a few extra bits on the display that are too small to see unless you're 6 inches from it?
 
LMAO.

I want those extra lights removed if possible, it looks messy now, and as you've said,
they are far too small to be of any real use anyway!

I have lost all faith in UR Team, and where is Satwiz, I'd like to kick him in the fecking balls.

It's no wonder he fecked off.

what a waste of an update they could have a least fixed the recording issue that is all thats letting the box down at the moment. With the time fix and epg install from this site all i needed was the encrypted recording fixed. But to release a new image that makes the icons of the front of the box light up is pretty shite

the beta image was meant for select people to have access to, who then check the image and report prior to a public release,

this time though, this didnt work like that

the image is beta, unstable and not meant for an end user to rely on, hence the 'beta' tag

theres a lot more to the image than just 'what you see' when you use it, a massive change in the coding can have a very little visable affect to the end user, just like a tiny change in the wrong place can totally cripple the entire receiver

a beta image release means that a public release is close

We've waited about 8 weeks for this update, which Satwiz promised so much.

ive given up defending any of the ETAs a while ago now m8, my theory is multiply it by just under 3 lol

While UR may not be the most efficient in the way they go around things, any image or firmware for any receiver is normally tested in the same way by select teams of people, mst receivers have beta firmwares as well as public ones

i want the image to be working and stable as much as everyone else does m8

but untill some form of source is released to dev teams, the UR team is all we have, as well as the few experts who have joined in the last few weeks who have been helping members get things working and stable

im hoping that by xmas (i know its a while away) there will be an alternative to the way things work now ;)

Yeah, a Vu+ Duo in my case if they don't get their act together soon. :)

it seems that it will be mine choise i january ,My company will give me present for 25 years work.on the other hand it might be a db800se!:Clap:

I guess TM are taking the p1ss now, however I had heard that the new release will be in the first week of September, but lets see what they actually fix in the update.

Based on the Beta reviews nothing much. ;-)
