I have just seen the pictures online of the new ford focus.

Have the ford design team gone on strike or something?

It seems like after designing the new fiesta, they click the zoom button and it creates a new car.

The may aswell call them S / M / L / XL instead of ka / fiesta / focus / kuga.

Pretty standard for all manufactures to have common design across their models. They had it to some degree with 'Edge' theme, now with 'Kinetic' theme. It makes it easier to upsell models to buyers as well as building brand loyalty.
