thanks for the reply mate.Sure will, but if you buy a drive thats a different make to your current 1 you will have to spoof it to report as your origionals make. This is done easily in firmware toolbox.
The easyst to do would be a hitachi as you can do all the flashing + spoofing in windows.

Easiest way to do any drive swap is to get the same manufacturer of drive.
Just swap the PCB's
Open the 360, rmeove drive, remove 6 screws and 4 ribbon cables
Reverse.

The PCB contains the firmware, the firmware chip therefore the hack, so yes.
