The config works fine in pure just tested it on a surboard 4200 and its giving me the following;

Maximum Download Speed: 20480000 bps

Maximum Upload Speed: 1024000 bps

No its not rubbish you are closer to the ftp server on ntl's backend than me is all

Transfer queue completed
Transferred 1 file totaling 164.83 MB in 3 minutes 18 seconds (849.8 KB/s)
421 No Transfer Timeout (60 seconds): closing control connection.
Connection lost: gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk

Shonk: that is rubbish I get full 20mbit anytime of the day from blueyonders ftp, 1mbit upload is plentyfull but 2mbit would be something worth paying for ^_^

I believe Virgin are only going with market trends on the upload anyway as they have the capacity to offer more.

Maybe your just on crap segment of the network. FTP is pretty slow most times of the day anyway Im almost sure they port prioritise.
