New Card Reader

hi does anyone know where i could get a new card reader for a pace 1000
looks like mine is fucked doesnt pick up the card says MUTE Err in eng menu but have tried it on another box that its is not programmed for and it says ok
So do you think thats what it is ?
i have allready tried bending the pins back up but no joy
any ideas ?

Are you sure it is programed for that box ie have you got the ird and bk number right?
I know its a bit obvious but its also the most common cause if not try putting some tape on the back of the card to press the contacts closer to the reader and have you checked the litle spring right at the back of the card reader if that has been pushed back and stuck or bent there then that could also cause this problem.
