rough price to get the mains fuses etc updated to the modern one. no idea so getting 3 quotes in to see which ones better. not necessarily cheapest. thanks

I'm not an electrician but if you change the consumer unit I THINK under the current regs the electrician would have to test every circuit and give you a test certificate, not too sure of cost either, I suppose it depends what he need to do by law.
