netid change

want to do my bro a box, i am in newark area he is in nuneaton, got the netid for nuneaton but i buy my boxes from notts, do i do the patch update and everything as normal then change the netid and frequency or what, i am new to this

you may have to use libby
depending on what box it is mate and if you are in pure NTL

i thought libby was used when you read the atmels, the box will be a pace 4000/4001/4010 or a sammy 2100, which one requires libby cause some where on here says you can use ocd, where do i use libby
