i have i dilema here, have been using nemesis (tweaked version of xp pro sp2 for those of you who dont know) anyway im getting a new board and 64 bit cpu so do i use nemesis which is 32 bit (yes i know im getting a 64 bit system) which has loads of tweaks for performance and nice toys or do i go for xp 64 bit with no toys or anything?

ideally id like a copy of 64 bit but with the toys on nemesis and the tweaks etc, do any of you know if theyve done such a copy of 64 bit xp yet? last i was told was they were stopping working on 32 bit xp to go onto tweaking vista but no mention of 64 bit.

Nemesis came with an nfo detailing all the tweaks and the reg keys used, you could have a go at installing xp64 then doing them yourself.

I may still have the nfo at home

No worries, they did look pretty easy, and setting a restore point before making changes would let you roll back in case of problems. I'll post up the contents of the nfo if I find it

Didn't bother posting the full .nfo, what with the copyright issues ;)

There's some really good tweaks in here for everyone, and now you can pick and choose which to use.

I've posted them above so you can see what was changed in Nemesis v3, which you can add /delete through Regedit.I've noticed the forum is adding extra spaces in places, which I've tried editing out about 6 times, so i've copied the originals into a txt file. If you change the extension to .reg, it'll apply all the changes for you (delete out any changes you don't want first)

They missed another good tweak for IE, so it let's u click links which contain usernames and pw's. Add this if you like
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_HTTP_USERNAME_PASSWORD_DISABLE]
"iexplore.exe"=dword:00000000
"explorer.exe"=dword:00000000

er, you do know you will need 64bit drivers and 64bit software...

or when you run a 32bit app in a 64bit OS it will actually run slower.
longhorn comes out next year, so wait for that and then go 64bit

longhorn is never coming out as it was renamed to vista im not going to hold my breath for that i made the mistake of using xp in early stages im not going to do that again byu using vista i will wait until problems have been revealed before i even think about using it.

yes i know about 64 bit ddrivers the stuff ill have plugged in that is going to be esential for drivers is only a nvidia geforce pci express graphics card which has 64 bit drivers nothing else is esential as far as that goes.
