Need Help With Quick Time Player

Hi to all reading i hope someone can help me.Ive downloaded Quick time player 6.5 but have a problem with the sound....It stutters and skips...Ive attatched a sample.Its from a video tut for photoshop and im pulling me hair out trying to listen to it

Have you looked at the audio set-up in Quicktime?? The sound out, on mine is set to 44.1kHz 16Bit Stereo...also you could try putting it in to safe made..

Hurrah....Thank you it's working

The sound out was set on Direct sound pictured

so i selected it to waveout windows prefered and i worked.
