or evan a usb 2 56k adaptor would work. if anyone can see any that world work on vista. it's for my m8 and his lappy's got vista on it. and its not got a 56k modem on it cos its a new lappy. and he just wants the card so he can check his mail and sutff.

You'd be better off with a USB one.

PCMCIA dial up modems are expensive! I've seen them around £50. For that much, you might as well sign up to a broadband package with a free wireless router.
