Hi, first time poster, nice forum lads!

I'm posting because I seemed to have come across a few ndsl lately that have the same fault.

orange chargelight comes on, no green light whatsoever.
Now I'm an ex tv repairman, so I know a little bit.

Its not the;
battery
charger
fuses
l2 inductor
switch etc.

Ive checked over a few transistors/diodes etc

But I cant seem to get any joy!
Does anyone know of any components(whether or not they're replaceable by hand) that are likely to go, other than whats above, what caps may go etc
I have a few motherboards here to mess around with, but i havent had a chance to get round to it till now, but i'd really like to get to the bottom of it.

I'm suspecting whatever it is, may become more common from here on in.

Yh dad is an electrican done tvs an stuff for years but they havent released a circuit diagram.
Normally when you have got that problem is to do water damage
1 thing to check make sure they all have there wi fi boards attached otherwise they wont.

Try reflowing the board, sometimes the chips under the game slot have solder issues. You can check this by flexing the board when your trying to turn it on, some times it will power up when you bend it a certain way.

Also I know you probably checked, but see if there is any water damage.

Also has dsdoc says, if the wifi board isnt connected properly you wont get any screen displaying, only green light.
