hi i keep getting a error msg on nagra 4.1 when trying to read card im useing a infinity usb pheonix programmer any1 able to help cheers people

set iffs is a communication error between your computer and programmer check your settings again and make sure nagra is running in windows 98 compatability mode

Are you still trying to read a funcard in nagra? and in phoenix mode?

You were told in your last post that you don't/can't use nagra to read a funcard. You have to use the infinity software for your programmer. You don't use the programmer in phoenix mode either.

Yes mate, but nagra is intended mainly for nagra cards such as the roms that the cable companies use. You need to use your programmer with the infinity software to read a funcard. you save the ext.eeprom which will be a hex file, then use swapbinhex to convert it to a bin file. This bin file can then be opened in Nagra. Use the search and look for reading funcards. Long time since I used them so I hope the above is partially correct.

Locked funcards or atmega cards

im going to be doing alot of cards this week if i get a locked funcard or atmega card how can i get in to get boykey and ird so i can put it bk on for em is there any software to get in with ?

why do you need to do a lot of cards??

surely you only need to watch one telly at a time?
