I think it's possible on a v1 with custom firmware and a specifc usb lan adapter

You can plug in a external usb dvd into the Xtreamer...not sure about a bluray drive though.

can you play an actual dvd film?? ive looked on the xtreamer website and there are posts saying they are haveing bother.

im probably going to go for either a ac ryan play!on hd or the mini version only difference (aside from price ) is that the mini doesnt have the option of taking an internal drive
